• Ages: 10–18 years old
Ken Soccer Academy’s coaches and technical staff are highly trained and licensed professionals. The leadership team includes Mr. Arnold Kennedy as Founder & CEO, Dusty Theo as Technical Director, and Samuel Nagbe as Grassroots Coach. The academy’s mission is to develop well-rounded young people by combining quality football training with a strong commitment to education, in a setting that emphasizes academic progress, personal growth, and performance on and off the pitch through teamwork, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship. As a nonprofit organization, it reinvests all proceeds into its programs and facilities, with a community-oriented approach. The academy highlights programs for different levels of players, including Grassroots, Youth Academy, Showcase, and Pro Pathway, with a clear pathway from grassroots to elite programs and onward to higher education, professional football, and other careers. It offers exposure and opportunities through showcases, tournaments, and scouting events, along with global connections to schools and colleges in the United States and professional institutions in Europe, and it notes pathways to professional soccer from college scholarships to pro contracts. The program describes a supportive environment that includes elite coaching, academic guidance, and essential life skills, and states that it responds to inquiries within 24 hours. One testimonial comes from Joseph Melto Quiah, a soccer player from Liberia, who states that he is grateful for the support he received from Ken Soccer Academy and that the academy recognized his potential despite challenges in getting a chance.
