Camp Blue Ridge Family Camps include a 4th of July Professional Fireworks event as part of the experience. The program takes place at Camp Blue Ridge, a Christian facility with updated, climate controlled cabins.
Camp Blue Ridge was established in 1957 and has a distinguished history of serving guests of all ages. It is owned and operated by the Potomac Conference of Seventh Day Adventists. The leadership team includes Director Ray Queen and Associate Director of Camp Ministries Julie Minnick, COTA. Camp Blue Ridge states that it is committed to providing the environment and opportunities for all guests to connect with the Creator through nature. It is a Christian facility that specializes in serving groups of all ages, backgrounds and interests, and for over 50 years it has provided opportunities for children and families to experience the outdoors. Camp Blue Ridge states that it is committed to equipping young people with the essential tools of Christian leadership through its summer program and is dedicated to creating an environment where all guests, regardless of age, race or creed, can learn more about themselves, improve relationships, recognize their place and responsibility in society and grow in their relationship with God. Family Camp 2025 registration opens February 1st, early registration for all past attendees is open now, and the first week of 2026 Family Camp is June 21–26.
