Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing offers outdoor adventure programs that include activities such as whitewater kayaking, caving, climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, skiing, and running. The program is home to a Summer Adventure Camp and also hosts summer camps, school trips, group retreats, special events, weddings, and festivals.

Founded in 1990 by retired Marine Colonel Gene Nervo and his family, Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing began as a small backpacking camp for youth ages 8–18 and has grown over the past 35 years into a year-round destination. Its programs are designed around four guiding principles: strong work ethic, clear communication, mutual respect, and a positive attitude. The mission of Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing is to create meaningful, character-building experiences that help people grow in confidence, leadership, and teamwork through outdoor adventure.

The leadership team includes Founder Gene Nervo (The Colonel), Owner and Executive Director Jamie Nervo, Operations Director Chip Cressman, Activities Director Abby Williams, Programs Director Logan Paone, Assistant Programs Director Winston Stalker, and Activity Instructor Morgan Cofer. Staff credentials include Chip Cressman being a Certified BICP Level 1 MTB Instructor and Winston Stalker being a graduate of Liberty University with a Master’s in Sport Management.
