Snapology of Harrisonburg provides year-round STEAM learning programs that use fun, hands-on activities to teach Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Programs are offered in community centers, schools, and other public spaces throughout the community, and Snapology can bring field trips and custom events to schools, teams, and scouting groups. Snapology camps run when school is out, and the curriculum supports children of all abilities, including gifted learners, traditional students, and those with special needs such as sensory sensitivities or autism spectrum considerations.

The Discovery Center play center includes building toys and interactive play areas, with regular creative play hours where kids can be dropped off or parents can stay and play at no charge. Kids 5 and older can explore the Discovery Center on their own, while younger kids require a parent, and there is no charge for adults to play in the Discovery Center. Snapology brings all the instructional and educational toys needed to host STEAM programs, camps, and parties.

Snapology of Harrisonburg provides Girl Scout and Scouts BSA activities, is described as offering top-rated Girl Scout and Scouts BSA activities, and helps scouts work toward badges, pins, and awards. For Scout programs, a dedicated Snapologist teaches groups as they work in pairs to promote team building, and Snapology patches are available at an additional cost. When programs are located inside Urban Air Adventure Park, there is an option to add Urban Air playtime before or after class.

According to the mission statement, while children are exploring robotics, coding, and design challenges using LEGO bricks, K’Nex, and technology, they are building skills that will help them throughout school and their careers, and to kids, it is just fun. One parent stated, “My daughter loves Snapology and is always excited go! Educational and fun” (Samantha Molto). Another parent shared that a birthday party there was organized, fun for the kids, and that the employee entertained the kids and helped with setup and takedown (Marie Robichaud). A troop leader reported that a Girl Scout architecture class was enjoyed by the whole troop and described it as great for teamwork and learning, with interest in returning for another class (Norma Rodriguez).
