• Ages: 5–18 years old
Misneach Irish Dance Academy opened in 2019. The academy is led by Ariel Raguso, TCRG, who passed her TCRG exam on the first attempt in 2014. Ariel is certified and vetted through CLRG and has also been certified through Safesport. The TCRG certification allows the teacher to enter students in competitions within CLRG. The academy offers classes for kids and adults, with options for recreational enjoyment and competitive challenges, and dancers are encouraged to compete as an individual or team. Dancers are given opportunities to perform and have fun at events such as Irish weddings, pubs, Wolf Trap, and the Kennedy Center. The program’s mission states that skills gained in Irish dance go beyond competitive success and that Misneach instills discipline, dedication, work ethic, confidence, teamwork, commitment, and a high level of fitness while encouraging life-long friendships and a love of Irish dance. The name Misneach is pronounced “MISH-nah.” Fall 2025 registration is open, and online registration is available. One instructor testimonial states, “Sharing my knowledge and love of dance has been the biggest joy in my life! Helping students reach their highest potential, and grow not only as dancers, but as people, is the most rewarding job in the world!” The site is powered by Weebly and managed by Hostgator.
