Ideaventions Academy Summer Programs

Ideaventions Academy Summer Programs are connected to an independent school for gifted students who love to learn. The school specializes in education for intellectually curious learners with a passion for exploring math, science, reading, and writing, and it offers learning experiences that range from art to advanced vertical robotics. The academy environment includes hands-on projects, experiential learning such as exploring cell biology with an enormous model of a cell, and lively class discussions.

Ideaventions Academy Summer Programs are part of a school that focuses on gifted learners who approach the world and each other with curiosity, kindness, and cooperation. The program is highly selective, offering admission to approximately 33% of applicants, and students attend from a wide area, including locations as far away as Leesburg and Arlington and from out of state. Ideaventions Academy has been recognized as one of the Best Schools in Virginia by Niche, Washington Parent, and Private School Review, has been ranked as one of the top schools nationally for SAT and ACT mean scores, and has received the highest honor from its accreditation agency, Cognia.
