Virginia Outside offers kids outdoor activities that include biking, kayaking, fishing, and hiking. The program includes Summer Camps, Overnight Camps, and School Year Programs. Virginia Outside Adventures take place in areas ranging from Shenandoah to the Chesapeake.

Since 2005, Virginia Outside has made it its mission to introduce thousands of kids to the wonders of the outdoors. The leadership team includes Owner and Camp Director Thomas Huss, Camp Manager Dylan Norvell, and Founder Tee Clarkson. Thomas attended Old Dominion University, graduating in 2000 with a degree in history and education, earned a Post-Masters in Educational Leadership at Virginia Commonwealth, and became a National Board Certified Teacher. Dylan graduated from Washington and Lee University with a degree in Geology and Environmental Science, completed a short research stint with the US Geological Survey, and teaches Environmental Science at Trinity Episcopal School. Tee has written more than 500 articles on fishing, hunting, and conservation in Virginia for publications such as The Richmond Times Dispatch, Virginia Wildlife, and The Virginia Sportsman. Virginia Outside grew as a natural progression from a love of the James River Park and a desire for children to have the opportunity to spend quality time outdoors. Whether biking, kayaking, fishing, or hiking, the focus is on having fun.
