Infinity Acres Ranch Animal Adventure Programs offers Animal Adventure Summer Camp, Camp at the Ranch, and Camp & Shop at the Zoo, along with Animal Encounter Reservations for hands-on time with animals. The program also includes HipCamp at the Zoo for camping, a Gem Mining Cave with a “sluice in a trailer” activity, and options for Parties & Birthdays. Friends of Infinity Acres Ranch, which runs these programs, is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit that uses animal-assisted programs to promote learning, healing, and connection for people of all ages and abilities. Its mission statement is: “We connect people of all abilities with animals, agriculture, and meaningful experiences that inspire confidence, healing, and joy. Join us. Volunteer. Partner. Participate. Support the mission. Be part of something exciting, supportive, and FUN!” The Animal Adventure Summer Camp is guided by the ranch’s 3 R’s—Respect, Responsibility, and Recreation—and immerses youth in age-appropriate animal husbandry, teamwork, and outdoor exploration. Educational field trips for school and homeschool groups are aligned with Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL), and outreach visits and exhibits for seniors in nursing homes and care settings use animal interaction to spark joy, awaken memories, and create meaningful emotional connections. Veteran-focused events and activities offer therapeutic encounters that can help ease symptoms related to trauma and stress, and the Veteran's Aeroponics Greenhouse Initiative is part of this focus. The ENABLE Day Support Program gives adults with developmental disabilities a place to practice animal care, responsibility, communication, and nurturing skills in a safe, structured environment. Hearts & Hooves Outreach extends animal-assisted activities into the community, and personalized accommodations are available for individuals with mobility challenges. HipCamp at the Zoo is described as “like Air B&B for Outdoorsy People” and allows camping at Infinity Acres Ranch, and the Infinity Gem Mining Cave can be reserved as a “sluice in a trailer” activity for parties, festivals, field trips, VBS, churches, fairs, or birthdays.
