YMCA of Virginia's Blue Ridge Youth Programs are part of an organization whose mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The programs operate with a focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, and apply the Christian principle of love, based on I Corinthians 13:13, in their holistic programming for people of all races, genders, and belief systems. Through the Y, 500,000 volunteers and thousands of donors, leaders, and partners across the country are involved in efforts that reach people in the U.S. and around the world.
