Moonlit Wings Productions Youth Programs

Moonlit Wings Productions Youth Programs includes Kids Acting Camps, Kids Acting Classes, Online Acting Coaching, Teens Behind-the-Scenes, Career/College Consultation, Birthday Parties, and eBooks & Resources. Kids Acting Camps and Kids Acting Classes focus on acting and theatre, and listed camps and classes are open to kids ages 7-14, with select ACTify programs up to age 15.

Programs

• Kids Acting Camps — ages 7-14; select ACTify programs up to age 15 · Summer, winter, spring break, and select school holidays · Acting and theatre camps for kids of all experience levels in Northern Virginia; held at local recreation centers; typically culminate in a family performance.
• Kids Acting Classes — kids ages 7 and up; 7-14 in listed classes · After-school; classes run 1 hour 25 minutes · Acting and theatre classes for kids of all experience levels in Northern Virginia; offered at local recreation centers; typically conclude with a family showcase performance.
• Teens Behind-the-Scenes

About the provider

For nearly 20 years, Moonlit Wings has provided acting camps and classes for kids in Northern Virginia. The leadership team includes Walid Chaya, Founder & Artistic Director; Jordyn Stewart, Youth Programs Director; Samantha Jalajel, Director of Summer Camps; and Rawan Chaya, Music Education Director. The program has won Washington Family Magazine awards for "Best Arts Program" and "Best Children's Theatre & Drama Instruction," and all instructors complete background checks.

No prior acting or theatre experience is required. Programs are open to all levels. Programs are offered across Northern Virginia, primarily at recreation centers in Fairfax County and Herndon, with select programs in Arlington, Prince William County, and nearby areas. Instructors are available to speak with parents at check-in and dismissal, and families receive email updates when needed.
