About
Art-Ventures Art Education Program offers Summer Art Camps, Educational Art Programs, Paint Parties, Private Lessons, and Therapeutic Art Practices. Classes use traditional learning styles and techniques along with hands-on experiences. All children are welcome to participate in the Art-Ventures Art Education Program whether they attend public, private, or home school.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
Instructor Stephanie Gwaltney is a Certified Art Instructor with over 15 years of teaching experience at Suffolk Public Schools. She has taught art at every grade level from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade, including International Baccalaureate Art. The program follows a mission that describes Art-Ventures as an exciting way to explore and learn more about art, with classes available for both seasoned artists and first timers. The program states that it supports an inclusive community by providing a personal approach and tailoring learning methods to each student’s needs.
