Youth Programs at YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas are offered through the Greater West Point Family YMCA. The programs are part of the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas, which focuses on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
The mission of the Y is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas strengthens communities through its focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. It embraces and nurtures the promise that lives in all people and gives children, families, and individuals support and resources to be healthier, more confident, connected, and secure. The YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas makes membership, programs, services, and facilities available regardless of a family or individual’s ability to pay the standard membership and program fees. The Greater West Point Family YMCA offers 24-hour access for members who opt in when the center is closed.
