About
4-H Junior Summer Camp is an overnight, residential camp where campers kayak, canoe, and paddleboard on the James River. The program also includes archery, survival skills, orienteering, dance, crafts, music, STEAM projects, low ropes courses, problem-solving games, campfires, evening programs, and time splashing around in the pool. Campers attend for a week at a time.
• Ages: 9–13 years old
• Schedule: Week-long sessions
The camp is designed for youth ages 9–13 from York County and the City of Poquoson. Activities are described as fun, hands-on, and full of discovery. Teen and adult counselor applications are open.
