Little Cavaliers Early Learning Center

Little Cavaliers Early Learning Center offers play-based learning that includes age-appropriate math, reading, and science centers in each classroom. Children have outdoor time and free time during which they are allowed to choose an activity.

Little Cavaliers Early Learning Center is now scheduling parent orientations. The program includes an infant and toddler program with an emphasis on social-emotional development and building positive relationships with primary caregivers. It is described as an affordable childcare option with fees on a sliding scale based on household income. The program is part of YWCA Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, whose mission is to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. YWCA Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia serves 21 counties in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia and was authorized by YWCA USA to serve these counties. The local association was established in 1943 as a residence for women who came to the area seeking employment during World War II. The leadership team includes Director Jodi Campbell and Assistant Director Carleigh Ray.
