Little Cavaliers Early Learning Center

Little Cavaliers Early Learning Center offers play-based learning that includes age-appropriate math, reading, and science centers in each classroom. Children have outdoor time and free time during which they are allowed to choose an activity. The program also includes an infant and toddler program that uses play-based learning with an emphasis on social-emotional development and building positive relationships with primary caregivers.

Little Cavaliers Early Learning Center is part of YWCA Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. YWCA Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia offers fees on a sliding scale based on household income for childcare it provides. The broader organization was established in 1943 as a residence for women who came to the area seeking employment during World War II. The mission of YWCA Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia is to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. The director of Little Cavaliers Early Learning Center is Jodi Campbell, and the assistant director is Zoe Niece. YWCA Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia serves 21 counties in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia and supports programs and initiatives in those counties by sharing knowledge, experience, and assisting with grant requests for partners.
