Centerstage Academy Summer Camps offers theatre camps, Broadway Bootcamps, acting classes, musical theatre productions, and a Young Performers program that includes mini-musical productions. Its music theatre department includes acting classes, vocal technique, and theatrical productions. Teachers are experienced professionals with university degrees and professional performance experience, and the studio director is Rebecca, with musical director April Grosskopf and director Celeste Agett. Centerstage Academy received the CoVa Award for Best Music School and Best Performing Arts Group in 2024 and 2025. The stated mission is to bring the joy of the arts into the lives of its students.
The Young Performers program is an exploratory experience for children ages 10 months to 6 years that includes music, singing, instruments, drama, choreography, and mini-musical productions. Young Performers in Goldie and the Bears explore music, singing, choreography, and acting while developing foundational skills and confidence. Broadway Starz Camps for rising grades 1–5 are simply staged, one-week camps with shorter camp days and a casual showcase for family and friends. Broadway Kids Production Camps for rising grades 1–6 and Broadway JR Production Camps for rising grades 1–12 are fully staged, full-day camps of one or two weeks with two culminating performances open to the public. Broadway Bootcamps for rising grades 5–12 are one-week musical theatre intensives with fast-paced, Broadway-style instruction and a culminating showcase for family and friends, and no audition is necessary for Broadway Bootcamps.
The Mainstage Broadway Production Camp for rising grades 3–12 is a three-week, fully staged production camp that brings students and adult alumni together on a professional stage for four performances, with final show-stopping performances for Matilda the Musical on a professional stage. Auditions are required for casting purposes for Matilda the Musical Mainstage Broadway Production, and enrollment in all three weeks is required at $250 per week. Madagascar KIDS, Annie JR, and Seussical KIDS Broadway Kids Production Camps are each one-week, full-day camps from 9am to 5pm with tuition of $550 per week. Journey of the Noble Gnarble Broadway Starz Theatre Camp is a one-week camp from 9am to 3pm with a casual showcase on Friday at 2:30pm and tuition of $350 per week. Goldie and the Bears: A Mini-Musical Young Performers Production runs one week from 10am to 12 noon with a showcase performance on Friday at 11:30am and tuition of $150 per week. Broadway Bootcamps are one-week musical theatre intensives offered during Spring Break and Summer Break from 9am to 3pm with a final showcase on Friday at 2:30pm and tuition of $350 per week.
Camps are different than classes and can only be accessed through the portal. No charges go through when families enroll online, but a spot in the camp is reserved, and tuition installments are available.
