Aberdeen Art Center Classes and Art-in-the-Community Programs offers free art classes, watercolor classes, mural painting classes, pumpkin sculpting classes, sip and sculpt events, sip and paint classes, and live artist demonstrations. The program also includes live music, art walks with artist demonstrations, free art classes and snacks, outdoor art installations, Downtown Phantom Galleries, the Adoor project of the PNW, Downtown Critter restorations, the Pollinators Park mosaic butterfly tower, and options for birthday parties, bridal showers, reunions, team building, and group tours during off hours.
• Schedule: Watercolor classes run every Thursday from 3–6pm, Mural Painting 101 in June 2024 meets on six days for two-hour classes, a six-day Mural Painting 101 class is planned for August 2025, a pumpkin sculpting class is scheduled on October 20, 2024 from 6–8pm, and a free art class is offered every First Friday as part of an open house and art walk from about 5–8pm.
• Price: Watercolor classes cost $25, the pumpkin sculpting class costs $40 per person paid in advance, each six-day Mural Painting 101 class costs $150, and classroom rental is $35 per hour with a pay-for-4-hours-get-4-hours-free option.

The program notes that the Aberdeen Rain Glow Festival hosted more than 12,000 guests over six years and is now permanently canceled.
