Flying Horseshoe Ranch offers horseback riding. Seven year olds may ride if they can carry their own saddles from the tack room to the arena fence. Horses are assigned according to the rider’s age, size, and ability, and riding helmets are required and provided.

About the provider
Since its beginning in 1904, the property has welcomed neighbors on horseback and travelers by stagecoach and wagon. George Sr. and Glory Blackburn purchased the property in 1955. The Ranch operated exclusively as a private independent children’s summer camp until 2002 and is now open year around. It also welcomes families, business, school, youth and social groups, 4H clubs, horsemanship clinics, weddings, and parties.
The Ranch has an age limit for children and a weight consideration for adults. Adults with a weight concern can discuss their athletic ability and experience with a Wrangler.
