Camp Casey was purchased by the YMCA of Snohomish County in 2025, after being purchased by Seattle Pacific University from the U.S. Army in 1956 to be used as an educational conference center. The site is a former military installation that safeguarded the Puget Sound region and includes historic U.S. Army lodging facilities and historic barracks lodging, as well as A/V-equipped meeting spaces and a main office located next to the pool at the main entrance. The YMCA’s stated mission for Camp Casey is to inspire, nurture, and strengthen culturally vibrant communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Camp Casey hosts Y Programs and Summer Camps and serves as a venue for families, sports teams, faith-based gatherings, school outdoor education programs, and other community-focused events.
