Camp Arnold Summer Camp

Camp Arnold Summer Camp includes activities such as nature trails, canoeing, a challenge course, and a climbing wall. Campers have access to outdoor playing fields, an indoor gymnasium, an outdoor amphitheater, a dining hall, an outdoor swimming pool, a chapel, and both outdoor and indoor activity areas. The camp also features a Nature Center, modern cabins, and The Old Pumphouse Espresso as part of its facilities.

Founded in 1966, Camp Arnold Summer Camp is owned and operated by The Salvation Army. The camp’s mission is to use its setting as a means to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, teach environmental awareness, encourage positive social behavior and safely provide opportunities for fun and adventure. The program offers residential camps, day camps, and teen wilderness camps, as well as Outdoor Education classes and Team Building experiences that are tailored to suit group needs. Its stated core values are Spiritual Development, Emotional Growth, Self Esteem, Skill Development, Friendship, and Fun. The camp is also available for daily, weekly, or weekend rentals by schools, churches, and other groups, and features a “Campfire Stories” video with a summer staff member from the UK.
