Table for 12 Cooking Classes offers private cooking classes, in-person and online cooking class experiences, and immersive cooking experiences that culminate in a 4-course family style meal or tasting menu. The program also hosts Private Family Style Dinners, Elevated Coursed Chef Table Dinners, appetizers and tapas parties, and a multi-course masterclass in Nordic Cuisine, with hands-on instruction from expert resident chefs and optional wine pairings from Artista Wine Cellars. Interactive online classes are offered via livestream with step-by-step instruction and the chance to ask questions, and in-person classes generally end with a communal meal and can host up to 12 guests at a time.

Table for 12 Cooking Classes is led by a team that includes Chef Loren Larsen and Executive Chef Dom Ruane, who also works as a recipe developer and on-camera chef for 12 Tomatoes. Resident chefs include Chef Dom Ruane, Chef Stacey Schwartz, Chef Demond Thomas, Chef Torsten Hoyer, Chef Kat Rutigliano, and Chef Joe Bayley, along with Corey Walle. Chef Stacey Schwartz has experience with Seattle chefs Maria Hines of Tilth and Thierry Rautureau of Loulay, specializes in plant-based and plant-forward cooking, has studied agriculture in graduate work, holds a BAS in Hospitality Management and a Master’s degree in Humane Education, and teaches as one of two Culinary Arts Instructors in the Edmonds College Culinary Program with fourteen years of teaching. Chef Demond Thomas has spent the past 15 years cooking, is currently a chef at Charcoal in Edmonds, and leads classes at Table for 12. Chef Torsten Hoyer has over 20 years in restaurants and shares experiences and knowledge through @torstens_cuisine and @tablefor12edmonds. Chef Kat Rutigliano attended California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, completed a 3-month internship in Dublin, Ireland and a 1-month internship in Gloucestershire, England, and has a 20+ year career in fine dining, large scale catering events, and private chef work. Chef Joe Bayley is formally trained in NYC, worked under a Michelin star in San Sebastián, Spain, has worked on cruise ships, yachts, resorts, and science stations in Antarctica, and won Food Network’s Chopped. Corey Walle is attending Arizona State University online for a degree in Educational Studies with a focus in Business Development.
Table for 12 Cooking Classes also hosts high-end dining experiences in the Seattle area and offers space for private events such as graduations, baby or bridal showers, and summer family gatherings. The program enjoys wine pairings from neighbor Artista Wine Cellars, and the online food brand 12 Tomatoes operates from the same space and has an audience of over 10 million home cooks.
