Harmony Hill Stables Riding Lessons is owned and operated by award-winning master trainer Sarah Moulton. Sarah Moulton ran Horsely Equestrian Center in Sonoma, California for 18 years before moving to Whidbey Island in 1998. The program is described as a warm, family-oriented Hunter/Jumper stable with professionally trained school horses available for beginning and intermediate riders, and students may also trailer in their own horses for use in lessons. Beautifully trained horses are available for whole or half lease, and Harmony Hill is a cooperative stable where boarders and lessors help with care and feeding of horses, with individuals keeping a horse there required to spend one day a week feeding and cleaning. Short-term boarding is available for training purposes, and the forest behind the stable links to miles of Trillium Wood trails.

Harmony Hill Stables is described as a community centered barn that teaches riders of all ages in equitation, with instruction grounded in flat work, jumping, and basic dressage skills. Its mission statement notes that it inspires a diversity of students to a finer performance with their horses and celebrates sound horsemanship, cooperative work ethic, and fun.

Parent and rider testimonials describe Sarah Moulton as handling small children well, teaching riders of different levels at the same time, and being an amazing coach. Testimonials also describe a calm, positive, and encouraging atmosphere, happy and well-cared-for horses, and long-term students who have leased and bought horses, shown in competitions, and gone on to study equine science or ride on college varsity riding teams.
