Kent Swim and Tennis Club Tennis Lessons offers group tennis lessons and private tennis lessons, along with access to swim lessons, recreational swimming, lap swimming, competitive swim teams, competitive tennis teams, competitive water polo teams, and social events during the summer season. Group tennis lessons are described as designed to improve players’ tennis skills, teach tennis etiquette, and pass on the love of the game.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Group tennis lessons run in two-week sessions, Monday through Thursday, with 55-minute classes offered at 12:00pm–12:55pm for Intermediate/Advanced and 1:00pm–1:55pm for Beginner/Intermediate, with Friday reserved as a rain makeup day.
• Price: Group tennis lessons cost $80 per player, per session for KSTC Owners and $100 per player, per session for the public/non-members; non-members pay an $8.00 guest fee to KSTC for private lessons.
Established in 1965, the Kent Swim and Tennis Club (KSTC) is a private, member-owned, seasonal, outdoor recreation facility. KSTC offers swim and tennis lessons to both owners and the public. Non-owners must enter and exit via the gate on the side of the tennis courts along Woodland Way, may only use the courts as long as the instructor is present for private lessons, and are not allowed to use any of the facilities after lessons. Private tennis coaches Nathan and Nick are available for private lessons and are private contractors responsible for all fees necessary to conduct the lesson.
