Studio East Training For The Performing Arts

Studio East Training For The Performing Arts offers Seasonal Youth Theatre Classes for ages 4-19 in singing, acting, dancing, storytelling, drama, tap, and musical theatre jazz. It also offers Break Camps & Studio Days, which are school-break camps and studio day or week-long camps that typically end with a performance for friends and family. Summer Theatre Camps for ages 4-19 include stage production, movie making, and backstage skills.

About the provider

Studio East says it started with a single teen program in 1992 and has grown into a broader theatre education program. Its mission is to inspire, train, and entertain young people from across the Puget Sound region through theatre, and it offers tuition assistance through partners like 4Culture and individual donors. It also provides in-school offerings.

All are welcome. Exceptions to register outside age/grade range are reviewed case-by-case and must be approved by the Studio East Education team before registration is complete. Registration canceled more than 7 days before camp begins is refunded minus the 20% non-refundable deposit, or may be saved as credit on file. Registration canceled 7 or fewer days before camp begins is not refunded, but can be held as credit on file. Any camp canceled after the start date will not be refunded or credited.
