Pacific Northwest Riding Academy describes itself as an educational organization that serves the community and offers events and workshops that utilize the connection between horse and human. Its mission states a focus on compassion for horses through respect, caring, and committed horsemanship; empowering teamwork between students and instructors in a positive and encouraging environment; and equipping the rider for life by teaching self confidence, responsibility, courage, and discipline, with an emphasis on a high standard of education and safety for the student and proper care for the horse through hands-on horsemanship. The owners of Wildwood Farm are Gregg Lanza and Heather Carder, and Nola Butler was asked to help manage the Pacific Northwest Riding Academy at Wildwood Farm. The owners made Wildwood Farm their home starting in 2002, adjusted their focus during the 2006–2008 economic downturn, and later welcomed the DesFountain training team in 2010 and Boyer Dressage in 2016. The program notes that students range in age from 2 years old to 82 years old, and visitors are asked to call for an appointment so they can be best served. The staff includes 5 certified and insured instructors who teach both English and Western at a beginner to intermediate level and Dressage from a beginner to advanced/competition level.
