Tae Ryong Taekwondo

Tae Ryong Taekwondo offers Kids - Little Dragons for ages 4-6, Kids - Tae Ryong for ages 7-12, Mommy + Me for ages 2-4 years old with a parent or guardian, and Family Class. It also offers Adult - Traditional TKD, Sparring Class, Tae Ryong Competition Team, Private Instruction, Homeschool TKD Class during the school year, TR REMOTE - TKD ANYWHERE, and Kali Class for all ages.

About the provider

Tae Ryong Taekwondo was founded in 1982 by Grand Master Yong Shin. Grand Master Shin is a 9th Degree Black Belt, and Taekwondo Masters are 4th Dan Black Belt and above. The program says, "We strive for excellence," and it has served the communities of Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Los Angeles, and Bakersfield, California, and Port Orchard, Washington and Pacific Palisades, California.

Kids - Tae Ryong: students have daily training in Courtesy, Integrity, Self-control, Perseverence, and Indomitable Spirit. Summer camp includes Taekwondo training, obstacle courses, team games, and Olympic-style challenges, with a focus on teamwork, effort, and fun — not intense competition. Spots are limited! Mommy + Me: $25 drop-in rate, $75 monthly rate; starts Friday, September 19th; Fridays 12:15pm-1:00pm.
