Cougar Kids Camp includes relay races, obstacle courses, dance, sports, swimming, outdoor activities, leadership activities, team-building challenges, demonstrations, learning activities, time on the climbing wall, challenge activities, crafts, outdoor education, reading and STEM activities, games, and water-themed fun such as water games and pool time. Campers take part in new and familiar sports, indoor climbing, a challenge course, and STEM activities, along with visits to the WSU Library, Ferdinand’s Creamery for ice cream, Kamiak Butte County Park for hiking and exploration, the Moscow Water Park for a splash, and a trip to the trampoline park. The camp also offers Swim Lessons and an After-Camp Climb program with fun activities for campers.

• Ages: 6–12 years old
• Schedule: Full-day camp Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, with weekly themed sessions from June 15–July 31; some weeks are prorated due to university-observed holidays, with no camp on June 19 and no activities on July 3. Swim Lessons run from 4:30–5:05 PM each week for campers registered for that week, and a parent open house is scheduled on Thursday, June 11 from 6:00–8:00 PM.
• Price: 2026 weekly pricing includes Full Day UREC Member $230.00 ($220.00 early registration), Full Day prorated UREC Member $184.00 ($176.00 early registration), Full Day Non-UREC Member $250.00 ($240.00 early registration), and Full Day prorated Non-UREC Member $200.00 ($192.00 early registration). Early registration deadlines are June 1 for Weeks 1–3 and July 1 for Weeks 4–7. After Camp Programs are priced at Swim Lessons UREC Member $40/week and UREC Non-Member $63/week, and After-Camp Climb UREC Member $20 for 2x weekly and UREC Non-Member $30 for 2x weekly.

Cougar Kids Camp is offered to children entering grades 1–7 for the 2026–2027 academic year, and campers must be at least 6 years old to attend. The camp runs as a full-day program from 8:30 AM–4:30 PM with weekly themes from June 15–July 31, including themes such as Where the Wild Things Play, Wild Moves Week, Cougar Cubs Week, Paths and Pawprints Week, Taking Flight Week, Climb, Swing, Roar Week, Life at the Otter Park, and Orca-venture Week. After-camp Swim Lessons are available only for campers registered for that week of camp, and After Camp Climb offers separate age options, with Monday/Wednesday for campers 9 years and older and Tuesday/Thursday for campers 6–8 years old. A parent open house takes place at the Student Recreation Center on the WSU-Pullman campus, and WSU provides reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities when requests are made at least two weeks before the first date of participation.
