The Dance Academy of Puyallup offers classes in ballet, pointe, pointe prep, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, tap, musical theater, heels and legs, turns and leaps, stretch and strength, tumbling, ballroom, adaptive dance, and adaptive hip hop. The program also offers dance camp, musical theater camp, acro camp, and princess camp. Combo classes such as ballet/jazz and ballet/tap are available for young students at Level 1 and Level 2.

• Schedule: Class options Monday–Thursday afternoons and evenings, and Saturday morning through evening; classes meet once a week
• Price: 1 Class Per Month $60 Monthly; 2 Classes Per Month $100 Monthly; 3 Classes Per Month $130 Monthly; 4 Classes Per Month $160 Monthly; 5 or More Classes Per Month $25/month per each additional class; Yearly Registration Fee $25.00 first child, $15.00 each additional child; Individual Tuition Cap (unlimited classes for one dancer) $250 per month; Family Tuition Cap (unlimited classes for all registered dancers in the family) $350 per month; Multi-class discounts and tuition caps do not apply to team classes.
The Dance Academy of Puyallup offers a full recreational program for students ages 3–18, as well as adult and teen classes and programs for tween and teen students who are new to dance or re-entering dance. Pre-dance classes are for students ages 3–4, Level 1 is for ages 5–6, Level 2 for ages 7–8, Level 3 for ages 9–10, Level 4 for ages 11–12, Level 5 for ages 13–15, and Levels 6 and 7 for students ages 16–19. Teen classes are for students 12–18 with limited dance experience, and an adult ballroom class is also offered.
The Dance Academy of Puyallup features a full musical theater program focused on dance, voice, and acting for stage and film. Summer programs include dance camp, musical theater camp, acro camp, and princess camp. Students participate in multiple performance opportunities throughout the year.
The Dance Academy of Puyallup is pleased to offer adaptive dance classes for students experiencing special needs, including a pre-teen/teen adaptive hip hop class. The mission of The Dance Academy is the development of the dancer through skills and technique training in a culture that is positive, where all dancers, regardless of level, age, or background, are treated with respect and mentored in their skills in dance and leadership.
The Dance Academy of Puyallup features High Impact, a nationally award-winning competitive team. The Dance Academy of Puyallup is sponsored by Brandon Newell, a Realtor with Portico Real Estate, who has partnered with the program to offer a free consultation to TDA dance families or their friends. Families can stop by, take a tour, and use a free week of classes.
