Dance! West Seattle offers ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, pre-ballet, Ballet I, Ballet II, Ballet III, Ballet IV (Pointe), Pre Pointe, Contemporary I, and Contemporary II/III. The program lists ballet and pointe for beginner through advanced students of all ages, contemporary for beginner through advanced students of all ages, jazz for ages 10 to 18, and Contemporary I for students age 7 and older.

About the provider

Dance! West Seattle has served the West Seattle community for 20+ years. Its mission states that it promotes exposure to dance for passion, recreation, exercise, or just for fun, and that everyone who wants to learn should have the opportunity to do so. The program says it has professional instructors and professional faculty with decades of experience in dance and the performing world. It also notes two performances a year at the Highline Performing Arts Center, along with workshops, master classes, lecture demonstrations, and a grand production each season.

Teacher Training is a requirement by the Director. Safety is a priority. Proper body education, learning how to be mindful of those around you, and ensuring a protected environment are emphasized. Well structured classes and proper etiquette are emphasized. Private Lessons are offered to all students in Ballet, Pointe or Contemporary. 1hr @ $90, 1.5hr @ $135, 2hr @ $180. A studio rental fee of $15 must be paid to the school.
