About
West Seattle Art Nest offers hands-on art projects such as forest-creature sculptures, nature prints, and watercolor landscapes. The program includes Toddler Time, school-aged programming, and birthday options, with process-based creativity and joyful mess-making as a focus. All programming is conducted outdoors by registration only, including time in the Magic Art Tent.
• Ages: 1–12 years old
• Schedule: Daytime programming Monday–Friday 10am–2pm, with additional birthday parties and private events available in the afternoon and on weekends
For nearly a decade, West Seattle Art Nest has grown alongside the local community. The program is led by Mary and The Art Nest Team. Its stated mission is to offer a creative space to inspire, motivate, and encourage young artists, with an emphasis on each child finding a unique style and expressing themselves through art. Alongside seasonal camps, Art Nest offers after-school enrichment at Gatewood Elementary twice a week in collaboration with Ms. Rachel, Gatewood’s art teacher.
