FootLites Dance Studio offers recreational dance classes in styles such as ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, cheer, and tumbling. Dancers can also take classes focused on flexibility and on tricks, turns, and leaps, and can join competition teams. The studio also offers summer classes, a 4 day genre dance series, 3 day dance camps, week long ballet bootcamp sessions, birthday parties, studio rentals, workshops with guest teachers, and a FREE TRIAL CLASS.

FootLites Dance Studio was founded in 1992 by Mary Jill Rodgers and has been family-owned and operated for over 30 years. Studio Directors are Mary Jill Rodgers and Mandi Case, and Dance Explosion was started by Mandi Case in 2002 as a performance team. FootLites Dance Studio is home to the Dance Explosion competition teams, which now include 7 dance teams and over 70 performers, with a performance season that runs from January to June and auditions held each June and July. The studio’s stated goal is to help dancers gain self confidence, promote teamwork, and overall good character.
Dance Explosion teams have received awards such as Best Showmanship, Best Choreography, Outstanding Costumes, Best in Style, numerous championships, and Overall Grand Championships. The program has earned Studio of Excellence awards at ENCORE and STARQUEST, and team recognitions for the Boyz, Petite, Youth, Junior Prep, Junior, and Senior teams, including multiple Elite Top 1st placements, Division Winners, Overall Grand Champion, Platinum and Ultra High Gold awards, costume and choreography awards, entertainment awards, and other special honors. The studio stays active in the community through appearances at local sporting events, a Competition Weekend, and an Annual Showcase at Selah High School, and by running fundraisers and collecting business sponsorships throughout the year.
