Wild Wednesdays | Outdoor after school enrichment at Shoreview Park (rain or shine!)

Shoreview Park, 17229 3rd Ave NW, Shoreline, WA 98133

Wild Wednesdays is an after school enrichment program at Shoreview Park designed to give children an afternoon of fun, adventure, and meaningful outdoor learning. Following the Shoreline Public Schools early-release Wednesday schedule, children can join us at Shoreview Park for an afternoon of exploration and play—rain or shine!

Children will enjoy activities that invite them to sneak, race, play, explore, solve problems, and engage in healthy competition. Along the way, our programs foster community, confidence, resilience, and teamwork while developing the oral language skills that support literacy, including vocabulary, background knowledge, and rich conversation.

Wild Wednesdays is open to all children ages 4–10, whether they attend public school, private school, or homeschool. Drop-ins are welcome! Advance registration is required for safety, but there is no commitment to attend every week. We hope you'll come back often—returning regularly helps children build friendships, strengthen community, and become part of the Wild Wednesdays crew.

Come ready to get outside, have fun, and get a little wild!

We do not cancel class simply for rainy weather - children will be outside in the rain. Drop-in RegistrationWe are not able to offer refunds for drop-in registration, but we will work with you in a good-faith effort to apply your registration to another date.
Other PoliciesStudents are not allowed to use electronic devices during programs, including smartwatches and other "wearables." In the event of an emergency families can call our teachers. Exceptions for medical accommodations. If your child has a need to use an electronic device during program, please describe it during registration. We are not an allergy-free program, however, students do not share food. We will do our best to keep students with allergies safe through reasonable precautions. We do not share sunscreen or insect repellent. If you enroll your child in an outdoor program and would like to provide them with sunscreen or insect repellent we will remind them to put it on and assist if needed (eg if a young child needs help rubbing sunscreen in on the back of their neck). We will also remind children to step away from the group before putting on spray sunscreen and/or insect repellent. If a child needs to take medication during programs, please be sure to describe it during registration. We will need instructions from the child's health care provider. The child will need to be relatively independent in taking the medication, although we can assist (eg ensuring the amount of a liquid dose is correct according to medical instructions) and remind them when it's time.
