Woodland Montessori School offers a Primary Program for children ages 3-6 years old and an Infant/Toddler Community (Sage Class) for children 6 weeks to 2.5 years old. The Primary Program meets five days per week, with school day hours from 8:30 a.m. to noon and kindergartners attending from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; the Infant/Toddler Community runs from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on school days. Before School Child Care begins at 7:30 a.m., and After School Child Care runs until 5:30 p.m.

About the provider
Woodland Montessori School has served the greater Spokane area since 1981. The leadership team includes Makaya Judge, Director; Coreanna Riddell, Primary Guide/Program Supervisor; Allie Lapke, Primary Guide; Kate Kornchuk, Primary Guide; and Cricket Ives, Infant/Toddler Guide. The school states that it provides quality education following the philosophy and training of Maria Montessori and Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), and describes the program as holistic, nurturing, and developing the mind, body, and spirit of each child. Its credentials include AMI Montessori Administrators training through SIMS, AMI orientation certificates in Primary (3-6) and Infant/Toddler (0-3), AMI primary certifications through Age of Montessori and Montessori Northwest, and an Assistant to Infants diploma expected in August 2026.
