Spokane Northeast Youth Center is a nonprofit organization with a dedicated board of directors and has been making a difference in the lives of children since 1971. Its mission states that all children deserve a place where they feel safe and welcome, and that it offers a home away from home so that children feel cared for and parents can focus on all of life’s other needs. The program provides social and emotional learning, childcare, meals, and transportation to children in the community.

Throughout the year, Spokane Northeast Youth Center provides a variety of special events for children in the community. The Building Brighter Futures Fundraiser is an annual auction event that raises money for low-income, at-risk youth in the community.
