Warm Beach Camp was originally developed in 1956 as a ministry of the Pacific Northwest Free Methodist Church and incorporated as a separate, private non-profit organization in 1995. The organization states a mission of providing Christ-centered environments, experiences, and resources that draw people to God through camping ministries, conferences, and events. It identifies itself as a faith-based, Christ-centered, Bible-based organization and offers a family-oriented vacation format with self-serve recreation activities. Warm Beach Camp also hosts The Lights of Christmas, described as a family-friendly holiday event.

Testimonials from past participants and group leaders describe experiences at Warm Beach Camp, including comments from Oasis Family Camp participants in 2017 and 2018 and group leaders from Northwest Chi Alpha and Camp Bighorn. The camp also provides rental facilities and event planning services for church, school, non-profit, and governmental groups throughout the Pacific Northwest and the lower mainland of British Columbia, Canada.
