Defiance Jiu Jitsu offers Kids Jiu-Jitsu & Self Defense, Jiu-Jitsu Fundamentals, Competition Training, Striking, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Open Mat, and Private Lessons. The kids program is listed for ages 4 to 15. Private Lessons are one-on-one sessions with a Defiance coach and are also available for small groups of 1 to 4 students.

- Open Mat — Extra training time for practicing technique or sparring with a partner.
- Private Lessons — One-on-one training session between the student and a Defiance coach; available for individual students or small groups of 1-4 students.

About the provider
The site states that Carlos Gracie established the first Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1925, and that the art was refined and developed by Helio Gracie in 1928. Defiance Jiu Jitsu says it believes jiu jitsu is not a black and white art but a spectrum of colors, reflecting the many different kinds of people who train in and benefit from the art.
