Ballard Junior Football has been serving the community since 1962 and joined the North Sound Junior Football League (NSJFL) in 2025. The Ballard Knights compete in the NSJFL, which is a “High School Feeder” model youth football league with teams spanning Snohomish and King Counties and connections to local high school football programs. The NSJFL states that it is committed to youth in grades K–8th learning the game of football with a focus on skill development and teamwork, participating in a larger league, strengthening connections with local high school football programs, and competing at a high level while fostering sportsmanship and community pride.
