About the provider
North Tacoma Soccer Club was formed in 1972. Its mission is to bring soccer to kids of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, and economic statuses. Volunteers provide a majority of the effort, with help and support from the club, and the club works with Metro Parks Tacoma, the Tacoma School District, and the Boys and Girls Club to obtain fields.
The club serves boys and girls from ages four to nineteen. For games played by older kids, the club uses the Northwest Soccer Officials (NSO). Players themselves do not need to live within the club boundary. The club's southern boundary is South 19th Street in Tacoma; the north, east and west boundaries are the waters of Puget Sound.
