About

South Tacoma United Soccer Club offers the Micro Program for 4- and 5-year-olds, with a six-week summer session that teaches the basics of soccer and focuses on having fun. It also offers the Small-Sided Program for U-7 to U-12 players and the Full Field Program for U-13 to U-18 players, with playing levels from beginner to advanced and plenty of playing time in the Small-Sided Program.

About the provider

South Tacoma United Soccer Club has served the youth of Pierce County since 1954 and merged South Tacoma Soccer Club and Tacoma United in 2014. The club lists a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, director of coaching, fields/games manager, registrar, and coaching staff, and it offers financial assistance scholarships. It also states that scholarship recipients are asked to volunteer four hours during the season.

Each team registered must provide at least one coach and one team parent/manager; coaches/volunteers are needed; current teams play at the select level and players must contact the coach for a tryout to join; space is limited; returning players are generally assigned first, then new players.
