The Boys & Girls Club of the Yakama Nation states that its mission is to empower all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible students. The organization works with all youth ages 5–18 living on and around the Yakama Nation Reservation and resides on tribal lands with a stated responsibility to carry the lifelong legacy, sacrifice, and tradition of their Ancestors for the lifelong success, enrichment, and wellness of Yakama Nation youth and future generations. Youth Council/Keystone Club is a teen program where BGCYN teens participate in building leadership skills, making positive changes in their community, and providing events for teens. BGCYN notes that its goal is to make after school care affordable, with scholarships for After School Programming and the Summer Program depending on responses in the application, and sponsorships also available.

The Boys & Girls Club of the Yakama Nation Board of Directors includes Lisa Garcia (Board Chair), Christopher Wallahee (Board Vice Chair), and board members Emily Washines, Bill Kruger, Harris Teo, Michelle Jalali, E.
