Capital Volleyball Club

Capital Volleyball Club offers 12U through 18U volleyball teams, including 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 16U-2, and 18U. The 12U team practices Monday and Wednesday from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m., and training sessions are held twice a week.

• Ages: 12–18 years old
• General schedule: Training sessions will be held twice a week. The club typically offers 12U-18U levels of play. Tryouts for 15U-18U for the coming 2026-2027 season will take place August 2nd. Tryout for 12U-14U will take place later this fall.

About the provider

Capital Volleyball Club is a non-profit youth sports organization committed to providing quality physical and personal development through practice and competition at the local, regional, and national levels. Club Director is Mike Henry, and the board members are Lee Pilon, Chris Linke, Tracie Lindeblom, Kim Goodman, Heidi DeFord Hicks, Camryn Wilson, Katie Manning, and Garry Hicks. Coaches are certified through the IMPACT coaching clinic sponsored by Puget Sound Region Volleyball, and teams are consistently placed in the top Power League brackets in the region for their age group.

Open try-outs for all; no guaranteed spots for returning players. At least two tournaments per month. Practice usually twice a week. All age groups travel to large tournaments in Washington and Oregon. Refunds may be given at the end of the year if not all funds paid by players are used during that season. The club strives for clear communication with athletes. Competition is in the Puget Sound Region league, which is USAV sanctioned, and there will be additional tournaments for each team, including national qualifiers.
