About
The Claudette Walker School of Dance offers a variety of dance activities including tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, acrobatic, lyrical, and musical theatre. The program is designed to accommodate dancers at all levels, from beginners to professionals, with both group and private lessons available. Drop-ins are welcome, and the school has performed internationally in countries such as Japan, Greece, and Mexico.

Claudette Walker, the founder, has been teaching and adjudicating for regional and national dance organizations such as Dance Masters of America and Dance Educators of America. The school has been in its current location since 1964 and has received numerous national awards, including the DEA Choreography Award and the Tremaine Choreography Award. The school is actively involved in the community, performing at events like the Wa State Fair and the Rose Festival. Claudette's mission is to provide a rewarding and exciting dance experience with a strong commitment to artistic integrity and good technique.
