Evergreen Dance Academy

Evergreen Dance Academy offers classes in Creative Dance, Pre-Ballet/Tap, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary, Acro, Ballroom, Modern, Stretch & Strength, and Adult Classes. Creative Dance classes use a ballet- and tap-based curriculum that alternates formats each week and focuses on gross motor skill development and coordination through movement to music. The studio also offers a Ballet program that challenges dancers at different levels, Tap classes that cover coordination, rhythm, basic steps, combinations, and terminology, and Hip Hop classes that teach rhythm, musicality, coordination, isolations, attitude, and stage presence in two levels with various styles of hip hop.

Creative Dance at Evergreen Dance Academy consists of three levels for ages 3 to 5 years old. Jazz classes focus on positions of the legs, arms, and body along with a progression of skills such as kicks, turns, and jumps or leaps. Lyrical/Contemporary combines the strength and line of ballet with the swing and power of jazz technique to train dancers in performance expression, versatility in technique, and fluidity in movement. Adult classes offer challenging artistic choreography for adults who want that level of challenge.
