FC Salmon Creek Soccer Club offers Recreational Soccer for all skill levels with parent volunteer coaches. It also offers Academy U8-U10 Soccer for players ages 7-10, with training one to two nights per week, group trainings in Spring and Summer/Fall, and games on Sundays. Player Developmental Academy (PDA) is also for ages 7-10 and includes teams that train one to two nights per week and group trainings in Spring and Summer/Fall.

- Player Developmental Academy (PDA) — 7-10 · Teams train one to two nights per week; group trainings in Spring and Summer/Fall · Bridge program between Recreational and Competitive soccer; players are required to try out and selected players are placed on teams.

FC Salmon Creek Soccer Club says it is dedicated to providing young soccer players with a supportive developmental environment and a constructive athletic program. Its stated goal is to build self-confidence while fostering cooperation, teamwork, and fair play. The youth academy teams participate in Portland Timbers Thorns League (PTTL) and various tournaments, and fall and spring teams compete in the PTTL Player Developmental Academy League on Sundays.
Players are required to try out for Academy and PDA teams. Academy Team players are given at least 1/3 playing time per game during regular league play, unless restricted due to health issues, injuries, disciplinary action, red or yellow cards, or the player's own desire not to play. Teams typically have 10-12 players. Optional Winter training is held indoors for an additional fee.
