About the provider

Since 1968, United Studios of Self Defense students have studied USSD’s Kempo-style martial arts. The scholarship program was founded in 2022 to provide accessible self-defense training to youth in the community. The mission statement says the studio aims to impact the lives of its students and community through martial arts and to encourage students to overcome emotional, mental, and physical obstacles.
