About
Dayley Dance Academy NW offers year-round dance training that includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz/Lyrical, Musical Theater, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Acro, conditioning, applied ballet technique, and Stretch & Strength. Dancers can participate in Classes, Summer Classes, intensives, camps, workshops, Shows, Events, a Winter Production, an End of Year Showcase, and the Illumination Dance Competitive Company with Mini, Junior, and Teen Companies. The program also includes specific rehearsals and routines such as Mini Competition Routines, Junior Competition Routines, Ballet Performance, Tap & Performance, Jazz/Lyrical Tech, Acro Skills, Integrating Pointe Work, and Disney Tour Rehearsals, along with performance experiences like a Disney Tour and a Moving Arts Photoshoot.
• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Fall classes run from September 3, 2025, through June 20, 2026, with weekly options such as Mini Rehearsal A (Wednesday 6:30–7:30pm), Mini Rehearsal B (Thursday 4:30–5:30pm), Ballet 2 (Wednesday 5:30–6:30pm), Tap 2 (Thursday 5:30–6:15pm), Jazz/Lyrical Tech 2 (Thursday 6:30–7:15pm), Acro Skills (Wednesday 7:30–8:30pm), multiple Intermediate and Advanced Junior rehearsals and technique classes Monday–Thursday, and Integrating Pointe Work on Wednesdays 4:00–5:30pm. The yearly calendar also includes events such as an IDC Welcome Open House (July 11, 2025), Villains Brew Fundraiser (October 11, 2025), Moving Arts Photoshoot (October 25–26, 2025), Winter Show Rehearsal (December 13, 2025), Winter Production (December 19–20, 2025), Princess Tea Fundraiser (February 7, 2026), Disney Tour Rehearsals (February 14 and 17, 2026), Disney Tour (February 19–23, 2026), Hollywood Connection (March 13–15, 2026), Onstage NY Comp (April 17–19, 2026), Celebrity Dance Comp (April 24–26, 2026), and End of Year Showcase the week of June 17–20, 2026.
• Price: Full Program (5.5 hours per week) is $300 per month, Full Program (9+ hours per week) is $375 per month, with an extra charge per month for add-on classes without the full program.

Illumination Dance Company is described as an accelerated dance program for students who want to learn alongside a tight-knit group of dancers with shared interests and goals in their dance development, with a curriculum that includes conditioning and applied ballet technique taught by certified PBT instructors. Faculty are described as focused mentors, coaches, and cheerleaders for their students, and dancers in this program perform and compete at local competitions, perform in Winter and June productions, and travel to Disney parks every two years to perform and experience workshops and adjudications in Orange County and with Disney production specialists.
The DDANW “Dancer of the Year” is nominated by instructors based on dedication, attendance, kindness, growth, personal effort, courage, and teamwork, and dancers must be in the full program to be nominated. The final selection and award are announced at the End of Season June Showcase on Saturday night. Full program Minis are invited to attend the Disney Tour, and the Hollywood Connection convention is optional for Minis.
Class Dancewear Packages are available for purchase at Dayley Dance Academy NW, and Minis and Juniors have class-specific shoes that are ordered at the front desk. PBT equipment includes a PBT Bundle (resistance bands, fusion ball, weights, mesh bag) purchased at the front desk, and dancers bring a yoga mat and racquetball from home. The dress code for Minis includes a lavender leotard, convertible pink tights, ballet shoes, and hair in a clean ballet bun for Ballet/Rehearsal A, and any color leotard or athletic top, dance shorts, jazz and tap shoes, and hair worn up for Jazz & Tap/Rehearsal B. The dress code for Juniors specifies navy or burgundy leotards with pink convertible tights and ballet shoes with hair in a clean ballet bun for Ballet Tech, a black leotard with pink convertible tights and ballet shoes with hair in a clean ballet bun for Ballet Performance, and any color leotard or fitted dancewear with optional layering, appropriate Tap, Jazz, or Hip Hop shoes, and hair worn up and out of the face for all other styles.
