About
North Whidbey Pool, Park, & Recreation District Aquatic & Recreation Programs offers aquatic and recreation activities with online registration available for these programs. Families can contact the Front Desk at 360.675.7665 ext. 0 for registration assistance or questions about aquatic or recreational activities. Interested participants can also subscribe to receive updates that include pool schedule changes, special events, and swim lesson information. JVMP hours run Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Schedule: Open hours are available seven days a week, with varying opening and closing times by day.
In 2025, the facility is closed on New Year’s Day, the 4th of July, the Sunday before Labor Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day, and it closes at 1:00 p.m. the day before Thanksgiving, on Christmas Eve, and on New Year’s Eve. Some programs use a resident and non-resident fee structure, and a resident is defined as someone who lives within the district boundaries, typically with a 98277 ZIP code. Other programs do not have separate resident and non-resident rates because they are funded primarily through registration fees rather than local tax support. Meeting information, agendas, and packets are listed at the bottom of every page under “NWPPRD Public Meeting.” The leadership team includes Executive Director Jay Cochran, Maintenance Manager Mitch Cochran, and Business Manager Julie Millang.
