Empowered Minds Kids Studio

Empowered Minds Kids Studio offers PLAY-based group coaching, PLAY-based individual coaching, and skill based camps. The program uses fun, interactive play-based coaching and provides children with a tangible tool-kit in all coaching programs. All coaching programs also include a home connection program and are tailored to fit each child’s needs based on an online assessment completed by parents or caregivers.

Jen and Mandy, the coaches at Empowered Minds Kids Studio, are certified Kids Life Coaches and experienced elementary educators. Their mission is to unconditionally uplift children to become the changemakers of their own lives. Empowered Minds Kids Studio includes a relaxing and peaceful “zen” lounge area for parents and a large open space for PLAY-based group and individual coaching. Professional development training from the program has been provided to YMCA Fox Cities teachers.

Parents and caregivers have shared that their children worked with Coach Jen and Coach Mandy on personal goals, vision boards, tools and techniques for real life situations, and language to use with high anxiety children. Families and parents from the Empowered Kids & Families Program have described changes in how their families work through issues together, listen to each other, and respond to one another. Teachers from YMCA Fox Cities have described learning language to de-escalate situations, find out what is going on without making assumptions, and create community and promote teamwork.
