Brillion Nature Center Programs include seasonal events and ongoing activities such as Winter Sprinter, Maple Syrup Camp & Pancake Breakfast, Christmas in the Marsh, Pumpkin Walk, Maple Syrup Camp, and the Spring Banquet. The program also offers Smalls and Talls, a Home School Program, School/Private Group Programs, group programming, corporate events, Art in the Prairie, hiking, and the option to rent snowshoes or field packs. Building rentals are available as part of the program offerings.

• Schedule: The Center is open to the public Monday–Friday and some Saturdays, with the building generally open between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tuesday–Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and trails open daily from dawn until dusk.

Brillion Nature Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) environmental education center operated by the Brillion Nature Center Association, Inc., and is located within the Brillion Wildlife Area on a 40 acre parcel leased from the WDNR. Building features include animal mounts, hands-on exhibits, live native reptiles, amphibians and fish, a Book Nook with materials for adults and children, accessible restroom facilities with changing tables, and a 100-person-capacity classroom. Trail features include nearly 7 miles of hiking trails through prairie, marsh and woodland habitats, a picnic area with wheelchair accessible tables, a pit toilet facility open year-round during trail hours, and the ability for visitors to rent snowshoes or field packs.

Programs are created and provided by an experienced, full-time Naturalist and her volunteer staff. The mission of Brillion Nature Center is to provide environmental education opportunities and outdoor experiences for area schools and the general public. Visitors of all ages and abilities can take part in hands-on environmental programs. Special events open to the public and free of charge include Pumpkin Walk, Maple Syrup Camp, and Art in the Prairie. The annual Spring Banquet fundraising event finances approximately 80% of Brillion Nature Center’s operations.
