Crossways Camps

Crossways Camps offers ACA-accredited outdoor ministry programs as part of a Lutheran camping ministry. The programs are rooted in the warm and welcoming theology of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and are open to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. The organization provides summer camp, year-round programs, and retreat spaces, with facilities that include cabins, lodges, and lakeside spaces for gatherings.

Crossways Camps operates as a multi-site organization through Crossways Camping Ministries, which is based in northeastern Wisconsin. The mission of Crossways Camps is: “Following Christ’s call to cultivate inclusive communities, equip servant leaders, and create formative faith experiences.” The programs are affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and are supported by congregations from the East Central Synod of Wisconsin, Greater Milwaukee Synod, and South Central Synod of Wisconsin, while also valuing ecumenical partnerships and partnerships with community organizations throughout Wisconsin. The organization states that people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds are valued and welcomed just as they are, with an emphasis on creating a place of acceptance and belonging and promoting a community of equals where every member is respected.
