DCC School Year Programs and Summer Camp offers school year options that include Before School, After School, and Early Release time blocks. The program also includes Community Meals, which take place in the evening.
• Schedule: Community Meals take place from 5:30–6:30PM.
• Price: $12–$15/hour for summer camp staff, depending on experience.
The Deerfield Community Center’s mission is to promote a safe, healthy and caring community by coordinating volunteer response to basic needs and by offering positive social, educational and recreational opportunities for area people of all ages. Community Meals are hosted with involvement from the Deerfield Chamber of Commerce and St. Paul’s Liberty Lutheran. The leadership team includes Ryan Brown (Recreation Assistant for youth recreation and fundraising events), Abby Porter (Community Programs Manager for youth and adult programs), Sarah Statz (Senior Coordinator for senior programming), and Julie Schwenn (Executive Director for general information, rentals, donations, and the food pantry). Early Bird registration for DCC Summer Camp ends on April 24th, and the program is hiring summer camp staff. The DCC refund policy states that, due to the nature of programs and the set limitation on spaces offered, no refund is provided for absences, changes, withdrawal, dismissal for cause, or days a child misses due to illness or vacation.
